Scorpia

An Alex Rider adventure.

Anthony Horowitz

Every body says that Alex Rider is the spitting image of his father, but Alex knows nothing about his father, but that he died in a so-called Airplane crash. And Alex wants to know more. And at Yassen Geogrovich’s death bed he speaks his final words to Alex “Your father was a great friend of mine. We were partners. He was a killer like me. He even saved my life once. Go to Venice. Find Scorpia. And you will find your destiny…”  And in Alex’s new adventure he will seek out this Scorpia and he will know more about his father.
I liked this book because of the action and adventure on every page. It really pushes the book forward. Like when Alex encounters a Scorpia agent and throws him in a underground cell, and there is a flood coming in Venice and from the walls almost green from being submerged in water several times he has to find a way out or he will drown and die. He finds a hole in the ground and squeezes his way into the tunnel he hopes that the tunnel leads out or he will die. That’s why I really loved this book.

This series of books are not just for kids, but for young adult readers too. Check out the rest of the Alex rider series. I would rate this book 4.5 stars.
